In an effort to promote peaceful conflict resolution within communities across Kansas, the Kansas Mediation Center has announced the launch of a new program aimed at helping residents resolve disputes in a more effective and constructive manner. The program, which is set to begin on July 6, 2025, will provide free mediation services to individuals and groups facing conflicts ranging from neighbor disputes to workplace disagreements.The Kansas Mediation Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting peaceful resolution of conflicts, has been providing mediation services to residents of Kansas for over a decade. With the launch of this new program, the organization hopes to expand its reach and help even more individuals and communities find common ground and resolve their differences in a peaceful and mutually beneficial manner."We believe that mediation is a powerful tool for resolving conflicts and promoting understanding and reconciliation among individuals and groups," said Sarah Johnson, the executive director of the Kansas Mediation Center.
