Starting in 2026, all full-time employees will be eligible for four weeks of paid vacation time, up from the previous two weeks. Additionally, employees will now have access to three personal days per year, in addition to federal holidays.Moreover, the District of Columbia is introducing a new parental leave policy that grants up to 12 weeks of paid leave for new parents, including both mothers and fathers. This move is in line with the city's commitment to supporting working families and promoting a healthy work-life balance for its employees.In addition to these time-off benefits, the new package also includes enhanced healthcare coverage, with lower premiums and improved access to mental health services.
