This represents a 15% increase compared to the same day last year. The most common types of accidents reported were car crashes, slip-and-falls in crowded malls, and pedestrian accidents in busy shopping areas.One particularly severe incident occurred in downtown Denver, where a pedestrian was struck by a car while crossing the street. The victim, a 35-year-old woman, sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital for treatment. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. The incident is still under investigation.In another incident in Colorado Springs, a shopper suffered a broken arm after slipping on a wet floor in a shopping center. The individual has since been treated for their injuries and is expected to make a full recovery.
