In a move towards modernization and accessibility, the Alaska Mediation Center has announced the launch of a new online platform for remote mediation services. The center, which has been providing conflict resolution services to Alaskans for over two decades, aims to make mediation more convenient and flexible for clients across the state. The new online platform will allow individuals to engage in mediation sessions from the comfort of their own homes or offices, eliminating the need for in-person meetings. This development comes in response to the growing demand for remote services in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the center's commitment to reaching clients in remote or underserved areas of the state."We are excited to offer this new online platform as a way to expand our reach and provide greater access to mediation services for all Alaskans," said Jane Doe, Executive Director of the Alaska Mediation Center. "We understand that not everyone can easily travel to our physical locations, so this new platform will make it easier for individuals to participate in mediation sessions and resolve their conflicts in a timely manner."The online platform will feature secure video conferencing capabilities, as well as document sharing and messaging tools to facilitate communication between parties during the mediation process. Additionally, the center will provide training and technical support to ensure that clients are comfortable using the platform and that their privacy is protected."We are committed to upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism in our mediation services, whether they are conducted in person or online," said Doe. "Our mediators are trained to handle a wide range of conflicts, from family disputes to workplace issues, and we are confident that our new online platform will only enhance the quality of service we provide to our clients."The Alaska Mediation Center encourages individuals and organizations to visit their website for more information about the new online platform and how to schedule a remote mediation session. With the launch of this innovative service, the center looks forward to continuing its mission of promoting peaceful and collaborative conflict resolution throughout the state of Alaska.
